CCSU demonstrates its commitment to web accessibility by enabling access and optimizing the experience of the CCSU website for individuals with disabilities and impairments, including auditory, cognitive, physical, speech and visual disabilities.
Beginning in September, CCSU will introduce a new Online Student Absence Reporting form. To report a student absence, parents will be able to fill out the absence form instead of leaving a voice message with the school.
PUBLISHING AN E-NEWSLETTER BUILDS SUPPORT FOR YOUR SCHOOL!
Web team works with all CCSU schools to create email newsletters in place of currently existing paper or PDF formatted documents. New addition this week is EHS "Ninth Grade Newsletter".
Web Team in cooperation with EHS Library created a "Poem of the Day" addition to EHS Library page. Poems will be randomly taken from the "Poetry Out Loud" anthology.
Web team developed a solution to help CCSU Staff members, Students and Parents with logging into school website, SchoolPort.
Web team in cooperation with Pam Hemingway created a new website for EHS Career Center. New website will be the most valuable resource for EHS students who seek jobs or internships. Using new website students can take advantage of opportunity to interact with employers and learn about their jobs and internships.
Web team is working on implementing a web-based system integration to seamlessly connect faculty, staff, and the community via their school website. System will be customized to our district specific workflows, and processes. Our goal is to have a website that can offer many out of the box solutions and improve management of district administrative activities. System will an automated workflow, provides better and more secure access to information than a paper-based system.
